Positive Parenting and Encouragement
Your Ultimate Guide to Encouraging Growth
At Happy Heart Ministry we believe in the amazing impact that positive parenting can have on the life changing development of children.
Through the power of positive words, encouragement, and courageous parenting, children can thrive and grow when parents build a foundation of trust and open communication with their child. Our desire to offer spiritual support to equip parents and caregivers as they navigate parenting. We want to offer problem solving skills such as active listening and effective communication strategies hereby creating a positive parenting environment that fosters a feeling of connection and understanding.
The foundation of positive parenting include:
- Love comes from Biblical truths whereby we acknowledge that our job as parents is to first love our children and train them in the way they should go.
- Recognize that forgiveness is paramount; just as Christ forgives us for our shortcomings, we must forgive our children and perhaps forgive ourselves at times.
- Positive parenting embraces the power of our words, encourages parents to do their best, and recognizes that parenting is a very courageous responsibility that can transform families in a very constructive and life altering way.
